AboutLucy is a current fine art student at Glyndwr University in Wales, she specialises in painting and drawing with an interest in representation and symbolism in art. Her recent projects have involved travelling to the United States to an art summer camp, learning and teaching new drawing skills, coming home with many new pieces and ideas for her new work. She's also set up exhibitions in local dental practises researching the effects that certain colours have on the general public and responding to their comments. She's currently involved in working with control and the effects of restriction in art, concentrating on photographs from America and personal items that she owns in her still life work. She's also the acting curator for a new exhibition being held in Ellesmere, UK featuring second year fine art work from Glyndwr students. She lives at home with her boyfriend in the quiet county of Shropshire, sculpting small retro earrings and weaving handmade gifts as a hobby.
